Langille, Robert James-88 of Dartmouth, passed away on August 20, 2014 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Sydney, NS he was a son of the late Alfred and Jean Langille. James served in the second World War. At his church he gave freely of his time to do repairs and help with the up keep of the building. He has left behind a legacy of his love for art through his drawings and paintings. Our father was forthright and caring, remaining a constant companion to our dear mother.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances Langille; sons, Gary and David; daughter, Gloria Bruni; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren as well as several cousins.
Cremation has taken place under the care of A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS. A private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Altar Guild of Holy Trinity Emmanuel Anglican Church, 30 Alfred Street, Dartmouth, B3A 4E9
