Ruth Bennett Kettle

Kettle, Ruth (nee Bennett) passed away on August 23, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Wilson and Josephine (Dennis) Bennett. She was born September 22, 1919 in Channel NL. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Dagley Yarmouth and Marilyn (Bob) King, Sydney, son in law Rev. Ron Walker. sisters Jean Bennett, Dartmouth, Edna Quenneville, Rawdon, Quebec. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Ruth was a faithful and hardworking member of Church of the Holy Spirit Dartmouth for over 50 years. She was a member of the ACW and Ladies Guild. She was predeceased by her husband Captain Walter Kettle in 1969, her daughter Geraldine Ruth Walker in 2005, and her brothers Vince, James and Gerald. Visitation will take place 7-9pm today in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St. Dartmouth . Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Thursday August 26,2010 in The church of the Holy Spirit ,corner of Gaston Rd.and Regency Dr. Dartmouth. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Oceanview Manor and Parkland at the Lakes, Glasgow Hall for their excellent care over the last few years.
