SAULNIER, Shirley Mae - 70, Dartmouth, passed away July 3, 2010 at the QE II Halifax Infirmary with her family by her side. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late, Wilfred and Charlotte O'Connell.
She was a member St. Brendan's Parish, Stadacona as well as a member of the choir there and previously at Our Lady of Fatima, Shannon Park and St. Anthony's, Dartmouth.
Survived by her husband of 50 years, Gustave Saulnier, Dartmouth; son, Paul, Dartmouth; brothers, Patrick O'Connell, Spryfield; Richard O'Connell, Newfoundland; sister, Mary Ross, Manitoba; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter, Annette Saulnier.
Visitation will be held 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, July 7 at A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held 4:30 PM Thursday, July 8 at St. Brendan's Parish, Stadacona. Interment 12:00 PM Friday, July 9 in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
