

Predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Raymond and her son, Thomas. Also predeceased by her sister Ethel (Ron) Butler, brother Douglas McKay, sister-in-law Josephine and step-father Charles Eisnor.
She was the daughter of the late Edward John McKay and Grace Eisnor (nee Thomas), all of Dartmouth.
She is survived by daughters Heather Thompson, Melinda (Ed) LeBlanc, granddaughter Lacey LeBlanc, grandson Coady LeBlanc, and great granddaughter Lennan LeBlanc. She will be missed by her sister Deborah (Kevin) Cribby, sister-in-law Florence McKay, brother Donald McKay and many nieces and nephews.
Mom loved her grandchildren dearly. She loved to work on ceramics, flower arrangements, she loved butterflies, skating in her younger years and she had many other interests. Mom sold Avon and placed 10th highest in the Atlantic division for years.
A special thanks to all the staff at Oakwood Nursing Home for taking such good care of Mom.
