Scott, Veronica – 65 of Halifax passed away peacefully September 24, 2014 in the Q E II Infirmary Site. Born in Inverness County she was the daughter of Rose (Poirier) and the late Francis MacDonald. She was a very devoted and loving mother, sister, great grandmother, grandmother and wife. She is survived by daughters Terry (Ken T.), Judy (John) Millard, brothers Ivan (Patti) Colborne, Wayne (Lorelei) Colborne, sisters Katherine Layes, Marie McKinnon, Irene (Robert) Bowie, grandchildren Chelsey, Brooklyn and Santana a great grandchild Orion, several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her loving husband Herbert and a brother in infancy. A memorial service will be held 10 am Saturday, September 27, in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home 217 Portland St. Burial at a later date.
