Abe L. Camp, 71, of Davenport Iowa passed away on September 10, 2025. Per Abe’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. No services are planned at this time. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Abe was born on June 29, 1954, in Newton Iowa to Donald and Patricia (Hildebrand) Camp. On July 21, 2000, he was united in marriage to Sharon Owens. They have enjoyed 25 years of marriage. Before his retirement in 2017 he worked as a heavy equipment operator, security officer and warehouse manager. Abe was an avid watch, pocketknife and anything wolves collector. He enjoyed day trips and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sharon; children, Michael (Joni) Camp, Brandi Camp, Derek (Jodee) Eakins, John (Heidi) Conner, Jodi (Jose) Viveros; grandchildren, Gage, Nadia, Jon, Corea, Makayla, Jayden, Korbin, Joseph, Lizzie, Deagon, Dalton, Dawson; sisters, Bonnie Seybold, Dixie Hoagland, Melissa (Tim) Feight and Becky Camp.
Abe was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Camp.
