Alice Larson

Alice Marie (Ozanne) Larson, 94,of Davenport, left this world peacefully on October 2, 2014. Her spirit is with our Lord.Born in Des Moines, she worked for the Telephone Company and later married Melvin Larson. Throughout her life, she shared piano skills by instructing students, was a church choir director and pre-school teacher. Her memberships included; Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years, Daughters of the Nile, Friendship Circle of the Kings Daughters, and First Presbyterian Church in Davenport. Alice is lovingly remembered as a mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. Surviving are daughters; Barbara(Oliver)Dalton-Banks of Bettendorf, Iowa, Joan (Jack) Liszka of Sterling, Virginia; Cindy Belzer of Wapello, Iowa; daughter-in-law Nancy Larson of West Burlington, Iowa; 11 grandchildren;20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, several nieces,nephews and many friends. Alice was preceded in death by ason, Ronald Larson;parents, Norman and Ethel (Aunspach) Ozanne; sisters, Anna jean Stephenson and Winifred Haag; two brothers, Robert and William Ozanne; and, great grandson, Jacob Dalton. A private celebration of life and spirit was held on Sunday, October 12, and it was attended by Alice’s family and close friends.
