Amanda B. Alexander

Memorial services for Amanda B. Alexander, 23, of Bettendorf, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. There will be a time of gathering for friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the mortuary. Amanda died on Friday, May 21st as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.Amanda Beth Alexander was born on December 4, 1986, at Camp Lejeune, NC, the daughter of Robert and Kristine (Franklin) Alexander. She was a 2005 graduate of Davenport West High School and most recently worked at Granite City in Bettendorf. She was out going, fun loving, and free spirited and most especially enjoyed spending time with her family and son Michael.Surviviors include - her Son: Michael, at home; her Mother: Kristine Alexander of Bettendorf; her Father: Robert Alexander of Waretown, NJ; 2 Sisters: Amber Alexander of Iowa City, and Kelsey Alexander of Bettendorf; Maternal Grandparents: Dwayne and Lydia Blinkinsop of Clinton, IA; Paternal Grandparents: William and Jerry Lee Alexandar of Waretown, NJ; and her true love, Stephen Edwards, Michael’s father.Memorials may be made to the family for the future education of her son Michael.
