Arlyss P. Gosch

Arlyss P. Gosch, 87, of Bettendorf, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:30 – 12:00 PM at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences and tributes may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Arlyss was born on May 4, 1928, in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Emery and Wilma (Walker) Quinn. She was united in marriage to William E. Gosch on May 6, 1948, in Davenport. He preceded her in death. Arlyss worked at Younkers for many years and loved to embroider and sit for hours working crossword puzzles. In her earlier days she liked to bowl.Survivors include her children, Douglas Gosch, Bettendorf, and Karen Stinocher, DeWitt, daughter-in-law, Patricia Gosch, Belvidere, IL; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, DeLoris Krombach, Flanagan, IL and Phyllis Quinn, Bettendorf, and one brother, Dwight Quinn, Blue Grass.Arlyss was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Michael; daughter, Connie; and two brothers, Donald and Richard Quinn.
