Arnold Walker, 72, of Davenport, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Harmony, Davenport. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Pinehill Cemetery Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com

Arnold was a proud graduate of Central High School. Prior to serving his country, he dedicated his talents to the entertainment industry, working alongside his father, Ulysses "Buddy" Walker, at UW Productions. Following this work, he honorably served in the U.S. Navy. Arnold had a profound love for music, a passion that defined much of his life. He was always proud to have been born on the Fourth of July, and he cherished his love for music and dancing.

Arnold was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses "Buddy" Walker, and his sister, Deborah.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Patricia Walker, and his siblings: brothers Melvin Walker and Charles Conard (wife Valerie), and sister DeeDee Conard.

He will be deeply missed by his loving nieces and nephews: Terra Cribbs, Danielle Thomas (husband Dennis), Tiffany Conard, Carey Robinson (wife Sherry), and Anthony Conard (wife Tracy). He also leaves behind his grand nieces and nephews, Isaac, Anthony, Isaiah, Brooklyn, Devon, Mia, and Dante, all of whom he loved dearly.

The family is so grateful and gives heartfelt thanks to the Veterans Administration and staff of the Iowa City VA Health Care System for their undivided attention and kindness to Arnold while attending to his wellbeing and healthcare needs.
