Bambi Denise Hout

Services to celebrate her life will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 12 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 am until noon, at the mortuary. Her final resting place will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may go to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com

Bambi was born January 11, 1962 in Davenport. She was the daughter of Robert and Martha Jane (Stokes) Border. She married Larry Hout Jr. on November 18, 2000 in Davenport.

She worked as an accountant at the Rock Island Arsenal first for DFAS and then went to TACOM and retired from ASC on December 31, 2022. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, attending her son Dalton’s numerous choir concerts, baseball games and bowling meets. Bambi also liked watching movies, Court TV, and Facebook.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Larry, son, Dalton, Bettendorf; sister, Robin (Dave) Johnson, Coal Valley, brother, Robert (Val) Border Jr., Bettendorf; niece, Emily Wassell, nephew, Robert Border, III and dear friend, Denise Argo, Coal Valley, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
