Barbara E Hall

Barbara E. Hall, 89, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Senior Star at Elmore Place. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Senior Star Memory Care or Alzheimer’s Association. Memorials may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com.

Barbara was born on March 30, 1936, in Davenport, IA to Elmer and Edna (Bender) Schlaefke. She married David H. Brockman on March 23, 1957. He preceded her in death in November of 1998. She married Marshall Hall on February 17, 2001. He preceded her in death in August of 2021.

Barbara was deeply involved in Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and the PTA. She was a devoted Christian and avid dog lover who adored all animals. A traditional family woman, she cherished holiday traditions, recipes and time with family. She was known for her kind gentle nature, forming close friendships that lasted a lifetime and always looking out for her neighbors and friends. Barbara was a caregiver who selflessly sacrificed herself for others.

Survivors include her children, David (Gena) Brockman, John (Suzie) Brockman and Beth (Jason) Schwebach; 5 grandchildren, Joe (Cheryl) Brockman, Chris (Colette) Brockman, Sarah (Ethan) Davidson, Katarina Schwebach and Hayden Schwebach and 9 great grandchildren, Ava, Ryan, Eliana, Max, Norah, Evelyn, Miles, Sofia and Winslow.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands.
