Beverly Joann Neece

A celebration of life will be 11:00am Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Life Bridge Church Davenport, IA. The family will greet friends 10:00am until the service, Saturday, at the church. Joann was born August 29, 1937 in Osceola, IA to Robert & Erma (Young) Brammer. She was united in marriage to Richard L. Neece on December 16, 1959 in Rock Island, IL. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2020.

Joann had worked for 20 plus years at Burke Cleaners, retiring as a manger in 1990. After retirement, she moved with her husband to Tucson, AZ where they lived for 25 years. They returned to Davenport in December of 2017. Joann was member of Life Bridge Church, Davenport. She enjoyed bowling and going to the casino to play blackjack and the slot machines.

Surviving Joann are 4 sons Rick Gradin (Joanna), California, David (Deb) Neece, Davenport, Richard Neece, Davenport, and Doug (Sheila) Neece, Davenport; 11 grandchildren; numerous loved great & great grandchildren; brother & sister in law Kenny & Judy Kane; and several nieces & nephews.

Joann was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson Nicolas Neece, 2 brothers Robert & Jesse “Bud” Brammer, 2 sisters Besse “Joy” Johnson & Violet Rench.
