

Beverly “Bev” J. Rebarcak, 86, of Davenport, IA, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Weerts Funeral Home. Bev’s funeral service will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church 11 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2025; Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at the time of service. Bev will be laid to rest at Fairmount Cemetery.
Bev was born on January 26, 1939, in Monroe county, to parents Huber and Helen (Turnmire) Vance. She graduated from Albia High School and went on to work a long and fulfilling career at MA Ford Manufacturing. She met many special friends during her more than 30 years with the company.
A woman with a personality larger than life, Bev was known for greeting others with a heartfelt hug—even upon first meeting. Bev was a member of the Red Hat Club, the Optimists Club, and an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan. She also treasured her monthly lunches with the MA Ford retirement ladies. Scrapbooking was among Bev’s favorite hobbies, allowing her to capture and preserve the joy of her many experiences. Many of those experiences include her journeys cruising the world.
Bev was a dedicated member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she participated in Bible studies and serviced on several committees, while building meaningful relationships. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Bev’s memory is carried on by her children; Lori Browning, Dan (KJ) Rebarcak, Diane (Pete) Fritz, Joni Rebarcak, and Mike Rebarcak; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jim (Janette) Vance, Don Vance, Connie Vance sister-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
Bev was preceded in death by her son, Steven Rebarcak; parents, her brothers, Charles and Ron Vance, and Ex husband and friend Joseph Rebarcak.
