

Bryce Elroy Kehn, 92, of Davenport died on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Good Samaritan Society in Davenport. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements. Bryce was born on January 10, 1924 in Delmar, IA, the son of Clyde and Elsie (Taylor) Kehn. He graduated from Delmar High School in 1941, and the American Institute of Commerce. Bryce served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. On September 5, 1948, he married Barbara Musser in Muscatine, IA. Bryce worked for Fidlar and Chambers for 42 years before retiring in 1989. He served as a member on the Scott Co. Selective Service Board for 20 years. He also volunteered as a driver for the Davenport Public Library Books for Shut-ins, as well as for the American Cancer Society. He was a member of the American Legion, Plus 60’s Club, and Faith United Methodist Church. Bryce loved his family and above all, his Lord. He is survived by his Wife: Barbara Kehn of Davenport; Sons: Jeffrey (Robin) Kehn of Indianapolis, IN, David (Leokadia) of Davenport; Grandchildren: Alexis (Nick) Cooper of Gilberts, IL, Kendall (Pete) Wright of La Mesa, CA, Sean (JoAnna) Kindig of Blue Grass, IA; and Great-Grandchildren: Mya, Bryce, Ethan, Ava, Hudson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lowell and Daryl Kehn. Memorials may be directed to Faith United Methodist Church or to the Handicapped Development Center.
