Carol A. Lueth, 77, of Davenport, IA passed away on Tuesday October 19, 2021 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday October 25, 2021 at Weerts Funeral Home.
Carol was born on June 16, 1944 in Davenport, IA to Frank and Evelyn (Wellendorf) Murphy. She graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1962. Carol was united in marriage to Jack Lueth on July 21, 1962 in Dixon, Iowa. Carol held many jobs from waitressing to administration. Her last job was at Panera Bread in Davenport. She retired in 2016.
Carol enjoyed many activities including Golf, Bowling, Stock Car Racing, Snowmobiling, and Farming. She even had her own tractor. Carol was a woman of many talents; she played the accordion and organ, in addition to being all around creative and crafty. She enjoyed camping and traveling in general, with her favorite trip having been to Hawaii. Carol loved spending time with her dog, Shelby.
Survivors include her husband Jack; children Dale (Jeanne) Lueth, Shawn (Merri) Lueth; grandchildren Amanda, Nick, Jacob, Ryan, and Alex; and three great grandchildren with one on the way.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Charles, and her brother Jim.
