Carol A. Munger, 76, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 after a brief illness. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. Carol was born May 16, 1939 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Frank and Sophia (Smyk) Kabala. She was united in marriage to Michael Ray Munger on May 22, 1957 in Davenport; he preceded her in death on October 2, 1995. Carol retired from Brammer Manufacturing after 35 yrs. of service. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed politics , watching the fox news channel, the Golden Girls, and her pets. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Dave) Sanders, Davenport and Melinda (Dennis) Spanier, LaGrange, IL.,10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her parents ,son Monti and her sister, and brothers.
