Lolly was born May 28, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of the late Fred Myatt and Marcella (Tonn) Myatt. Lolly was a graduate of Bettendorf High School and attended Scott Community College to earn an administrative assistant certificate. Lolly was employed by Genesis Medical Center as a unit secretary on the birthing unit and eventually became the personal administrative assistant to the manager of the birthing unit; she retired from Genesis after 35 years of service. Lolly was united in marriage to Larry Long on March 6, 1982, they were married 25 years until Larry’s passing in January of 2008.
Lolly was selfless and enjoyed caring and giving to people in need, she was happiest and relished in serving others. She volunteered her time to Minnie’s Maison, a non-profit used clothing store that provides free items to those in need. Lolly also volunteered her time at CASI teaching ceramics to senior adults, and often took her granddaughter, Audrey, along with her to teach her the craft of ceramics, but most importantly to teach her the art of volunteering and serving others. She donated to multiple charities and her church. She was a devout Catholic and held strong faith in God and the Blessed Virgin Mary. She kept a daily prayer list for her family and friends, and frequently sent prayer texts to family and friends, yet another way to let those she held near and dear that she was thinking of them, and her sentiments were genuine.

She was creative and held many talents; she especially enjoyed crafting and gardening. She was a lover of birds and became a pigeon and dove enthusiast with Larry, and they raised, showed, and raced pigeons, and released pigeons at various celebrations.
Lolly was kind, loving, and thoughtful. She never missed a birthday or holiday to send family and friends a card, or send a “thank you” card, or a note to uplift someone’s spirit, or let people know that she is thinking of them.
