Charles Edward Tucker

Charles “Chuck” Tucker, 81, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House with his beloved family by his side. Private family services will be held at Weerts Funeral Home and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Chuck’s name may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Chuck was born on March 16, 1943 to Herbert and Elizabeth Tucker in Louisiana, Missouri. He worked for many years as an automotive technician before he retired in the early 2000’s. Chuck was united in marriage to Linda Shaw on April 1, 1972. He enjoyed spending time outside hunting, working with horses, and riding motorcycles. Chuck was a member of the Tri-City Flames Motorcycle Club for many years. He loved to work on cars, motorcycles, and anything that had a motor in it. Most of all, Chuck loved to spend time with his family.

Those left to honor his memory are his wife of 52 years, Linda; son John Tucker; daughter Tiyanda (Michael) Wells; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sons Jason Tucker, Sr., and Joshua Tucker; his sister Mary Tucker; his brothers Lindle Tucker, Sr. and Herbert Tucker, Jr.; and his parents Herbert and Elizabeth.
