Per his request cremation will be done with no services. Chip was a veteran of the US army having served during Vietnam, memorials in his name may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Chip was born September 12, 1945 in Davenport, IA to Charles & Geraldine (Doll) Witt. He was united in marriage to Sandra Pasvogel on April 21, 2001 in Davenport, IA. Chip had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal for 28 years retiring in February of 2024. He was an Iowa Hawk Eye fan, NASCAR Fan, and enjoyed garage sailing and antiquing.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Witt, Davenport; 2 daughters; 1 son; 1 step daughter; grandchildren; 3 sisters; and a brother.
Chip was preceded in death by his parents.
