Craig M. Petersen

Funeral services for Craig Petersen, 28, of Davenport will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Hillcrest Church in Davenport. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church. Interment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Petersen passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Geneseo, IL. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements. Craig Michael Petersen was born on December 28, 1984 in Davenport, the son of Thomas and Stacy (Jennings) Petersen. He attended North High School. In 2005, Craig married Jamie Bockholt in Long Grove. He worked at Speedco and Truck-O-Mat as a mechanic. Craig loved hunting, family, and his baby girls. He was also a member of Hillcrest Church. He is survived by his Wife: Jamie Petersen of Marysville, WA; two Daughters: Elizabeth Rose and Alexis Lily, both of Marysville; his Parents: Thomas and Stacy Petersen of Davenport; a Sister: Krystal (Brad) Petersen of Marion, IA; a Nephew: Rydder Petersen of Marion; Grandparents: Edward (Arlene) Jennings of Davenport, Emil (Kay) Petersen of Davenport, Cherry Petersen of Bettendorf, IA; his In-Laws: Rachael Bockholt of Davenport, Robert (Christy) Bockholt of Sarasota, FL, Kelley Walker of Shawnee, KS; and his Canine Companion: Sheba. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Sherri Mace, and a Great-Aunt, Donna Thelen. Memorials for his daughter’s education may be directed to the Craig Petersen Memorial Fund at the RIA Federal Credit Union.
