Dale L. Ganzer

Dale Ganzer, 83, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. He was born, March 24, 1937, in Dixon, Iowa to Henry and Hazel (Goodell) Ganzer. He married Dorothy Fanning on April 6, 1963 in Argo, Iowa.

Dale retired from Farmers Elevator/River Valley Co-Op after 37 years as a grain handler. He served in the Army. Dale enjoyed a good bourbon and loved trying new ones.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; son, Brian (Terri) Ganzer of Unionville, Missouri; daughter, Gail (Mal) Underwood of Highland Lake, Alabama; grandchildren, Ryan (Alley) Barnett, Spencer Barnett, Wyatt Barnett, and Devin Ganzer; great grandchildren, Ava and Axton; brother, Devere; and sisters, Phoebe and Rosemary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and three sisters.
