Daniel A. Frederick

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Rapids City, IL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Daniel was born on June 29, 1940 to Nicholas and Catherine (Toher) Frederick at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, IA. He was a graduate of Assumption High School. His first wife, Norine, passed away in 1992. He later met and married Sandra Seidlitz on April 30, 1994 in Moline, IL. Daniel retired from Alcoa in 1998 and went on to work at Suburban Landscape, then Palmer College as groundskeeper.

Daniel loved landscaping, and enjoyed being an Iowa Hawkeye and Chicago Cubs fan. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Sandra Frederick; daughter, Vironda (Scott) Dailey; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kurt, Stephanie, and Trent; and great grandchildren, Aspen and Jett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Patrick Frederick.
