Darlene was born a daughter of James and Blanche (Potter) Bebber on March 8, 1930. She worked for many years in home healthcare.
Darlene enjoyed talking with people and making them laugh with her jokes. She also loved to sing old Christian songs.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Janet Haynes; her grandson who she loved dearly, Steven Haynes; sister, Janet (Bebber) Booker; many nieces and nephews; and her dog/buddy, Dusty.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her only granddaughter, Stacey Haynes; and nephew, James D. “Bub” Booker, who recently passed away.
The daughter sends a special thanks to Compassus Hospice Care for their support and care; to the apartment coordinator, Camara Buckles, from the Ridgewood Tower Apartments; to Sandi Sullivan, who opened her home to welcome her mother after the apartment fire on December 5, 2020; and also cousin, Cyndi Wells, who has helped me get through all the plans because of my hearing loss.
Most of all, I truly want to give all the glory to God for bringing us together and taking her home peacefully.
Always remember, I Peter 4:8
