David L. “Wally” Fisher, 38, of Davenport passes away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in LeClaire Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Online tributes and condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. He was born September 29, 1978 a son of Daniel and Cheryl (Schwarz) Fisher in Silvis, IL. Wally attended Davenport High School. He worked at Pepsi Cola until his illness no longer would allow. As a young child Wally love roller skating. He enjoyed his car clubs, bands, going clubbing and dancing. Over the years he was a bouncer at several clubs in the area. He will be remembered for his generous outgoing personality. Wally loved people and was always willing to help. Those honoring his life are his parents Dan and Cheryl; sister, Amy Baird; aunts, uncles and cousins. Wally is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ken and Bess Fisher and maternal grandmother. Katherine Schwarz.
