DeLores J. Carlson, 79, of Bettendorf passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday at the mortuary. Cremation will follow the service. Mrs. Carlson was born June 3, 1933 in Davenport the daughter of Edwin and Helen (Erps) Stoefen. On August 15, 1951 she married William P. Carlson at Grace Lutheran Church in Dewitt, Iowa. She was formerly employed by Petersen Von Maur in Clinton, Iowa and later at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1995.
Survivors include her husband William; children Debbie (Mike) McGregory of Eldridge, Iowa, Lori Carlson of Bettendorf, and Craig (Julie) Carlson of Eldridge; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Dave) Bayles, Melissa (Tim) Von Muenster, Ben Carlson and Katie Carlson; six great-grandchildren: Jordan, Jake, and Cole Bayles and Lane, Lauren and Sam Von Muenster.
