Dennis M. Bass

Dennis M. Bass, 66, of Davenport passed away Friday, September 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 4-7 pm at the church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Dennis was born August 25, 1949 in St. Louis, MO, a son of Virgil and Genevieve (Heafner) Bass. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1974 and was stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy. He was united in marriage to Pamela Dee Misfeldt on June 19, 1971 and was employed by Tyco Simplex Grinnell for almost 40 years as Senior Technical Representative. Survivors include his wife Pam; children Jodee Williams and Jeffrey (Keri) Bass; grandchildren Cody Williams, Carter, Ella and Emma Bass, brother Robert (Karen) Bass, North Carolina, sister Barbara Bond, Florissant,MO, sister-in-law Gerry Bass, St. Charles MO, sister-in-law Michelle Bass, Webster Grove, MO and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William and Donald and his in-laws Melvin and Dee Misfeldt.
