Dennis was born on September 16, 1953 in Cassville, MO. He was the son of Donald M. and LaVonne (Casner) Lee. He graduated in 1971 from Davenport West High School. He married Rita Rangel on April 19, 1973 in Davenport.
He was in commercial roofing from 1973 to 2003 and then went to work for Midwest Wheel for 15 years until his final retirement in 2018.
He loved to bowl in earlier years where he was on area leagues, play euchre but his biggest passions were baking cookies, known as “The Cookie Man,” and repairing small engine equipment.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Rita, son, Daniel (Natasha) Lee, and daughter Deneen Woerdehoff, both of Davenport; grandchildren: Alexander Lee (fiancé, Brett Molt), Minnesota and Samuel Lee, Davenport, his father, Donald Lee, Colona, IL; siblings: Janet Rangel and Kevin (Christine) Lee both of LeClaire and Nancy (Clint) Galyon, Polacios, TX and grandpets, Mokee and Ellie.
His mother and stepfather, George Blanton and brother, Gary Lee preceded him in death.
