Donna Lou Miller

Donna L. Miller, 93. Of Eldridge, IA. passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Grand Haven Retirement Community. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Those who plan to attend promptly arrive at Weerts Funeral Home by 10:15 a.m. Memorials may be left to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com

Donna was born on August 22, 1932, in Davenport, IA to Harry and Marie Kambach. She attended Davenport High School. Donna was united in marriage to Vernon K. Miller. On September 11, 1954. They were happily married until his passing on February 10, 2016.

Donna is survived by her children, Stephen Miller of LA and Linda (Brad) Gill of IA; grandchildren, Christine (Ethan) Huber and Melissa (Josh) Filson; great-grandchildren, Penelope and Waylon Huber, Wyatt and Rhett Filson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Marilyn Holmes and Dolores Jones.

The family would like to thank the staff at Grand Haven and Heartland Hospice for the care they provided Donna.
