Dorothy Pauline Bayse

Dorothy Paget Bayse, 94, of Davenport, went home to meet her beloved Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Bettendorf Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:30 – 11:30 AM Saturday at the mortuary. On April 21, 1935 she married Roy L. Bayse in Newton, IA. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bettendorf for over 60 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Kay Bayse Harris, Davenport; a sister, Sandra (Jerry) Hice, Davenport; three brothers, Paul (Creta) Paget, Jr. and Don (Evelyn) Paget, both of Bettendorf, and Wesley (Evelyn) Paget , Live Oak, FL; sisters-in-law, Beverly Paget, LeClaire,IA, Johnette Paget, Bettendorf, and Collette Paget, Minneapolis, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Helen and brothers, Clarence, Robert, Harold and Rev. Jack Paget.

Her family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all the staff, nurses and aides from Hospice Compassus and Bettendorf Health Care Center – their kindness was above and beyond measure.
