Dorothy was born June 17, 1940 in Davenport, IA to Martin & Vera (Martens) Beale. She was united in marriage to Charles Moss in 1960, he preceded her in death in 1966. In 1981 she married William “Bill” Schafer, he preceded her in death in 1995.
Dorothy had been employed with Genesis Medical Center for 37 years prior to her retirement as a unit assistant.
Dorothy’s survivors include 2 sisters Nancy Geary and Mary Fulton; a brother Martin (Claudia) Beale all of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; 2 sisters Sharon Whitworth and Tammie Beale; and a brother Mark Beale.
