Edwin “Eddie” G. Rushton 60, of Davenport, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 in Davenport. The family is planning a Memorial Service at a later date. Online condolences and tributes may be made at www.therungemortuary.com.
Ed was born to Virgil Vane and Betty (McDaniel) Rushton on March 29, 1962 in Davenport. He worked various odd jobs throughout Davenport.
Ed was raised in the Salvation Army Church in Davenport. He enjoyed scratch-off tickets, going out to eat and having breakfast on the riverboat, and spending time with his friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his sisters, Jane (John) Lake of Muscatine, IA, and Shirley Rogers of Kokomo, IN; and his brother, Ernest Rushton of Eaton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Doris Soenke.
