Eric B. Hess, 56, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center – West Campus in Davenport. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2014 in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Runge Mortuary. Eric was born on April 11, 1958 in Davenport, IA, the son of Bobby and Madonna (Hannafan) Hess. He collected guns and movies.
Survivors include his father, Bob Hess; brothers, Peter (Laura) Hess, Mark (Tia) Hess and Matthew Hess; niece, Amanda; nephew, Christopher; several great nieces and nephews; and cats, Buzz and Spike.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
