Erma M. Petersen, 93, of Davenport, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at her home. Services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 11, 2017 with visitation from 11:00-12:00. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Online condolences can be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. She was born April 10, 1923 to Charles and Lila Plett Bernick in Blue Grass, Iowa. She married Wayne E. Petersen on May 31, 1945 in Davenport. He died December 7, 1991. She was a longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Davenport, to which memorials may be made in lieu of flowers. She is survived by daughters, Tonya (Gary) Brummerstedt of Groveland, IL; Gwen (John) Witkowski of Conway, Arkansas; and grandson, the Reverend Daniel Witkowski, Moline, IL. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Petersen; her grandson, Alan Witkowski; and her brother, Eugene Bernick.
