Fern E. Hahn, 85, of Wyoming Iowa passed away on April 9, 2026. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 4- 6 pm at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 12 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Fern’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association. Fern was born on March 1, 1941, in Wyoming, Iowa to Otto and Alfa (Morarend) Blume. On September 30, 1967, she was united in marriage to Dennis A. Hahn in Wyoming, Iowa. They enjoyed 35 years of marriage until his passing in 2002. Fern was a devoted wife and mother that spent her life caring for her family. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with friends.
Survivors include her children, Jo (Steve) Lundquist, Victor (Judy) Hahn, Rick Hahn, Mark (Aimee) Hahn, Jody (Katie) Hahn, Karen (Steve) French; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Fern is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brother, Charles Blume.
