

Frank R. Fasko, 74, of Eldridge, IA, passed away on December 1st in his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Cremation will be done with private services to be held. Online condolences may be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.
Frank was born on July 24th, 1947 to Frank and Ilene Fasko in Chicago, IL. After graduating from Bogan High School, he joined the Army National Guard serving from 1966 to 1972.
Frank was a talented sketch artist, which landed him a job as a draftsman in Chicago. One of the major projects he drafted was elements of the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. Frank then followed his dream of becoming a firefighter serving on the Chicago, Savanna Army Depot, and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division fire departments for nearly 30 years.
After retiring from firefighting, Frank spent his time gardening, creating stained-glass art, and rooting for his beloved Chicago Bears and Cubs.
In 2002, he met the love of his life Lindy McGranahan, whom he spent the remainder of his life with along with their beloved dog Pippy.
Frank is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lindy; his two sisters, Sandra (Thomas) Hosek and Susanne (Dennis) Robinson; his two sons, Daniel (Kayla) Fasko and Steven (Jody) Fasko; Step-son Brian McGranahan; his 8 grandchildren, MiKayla, Helena, Aaron, Reid, Waylon, Colton, Cooper, and Cody.
