

Gerald James Fuller, 88, of Davenport passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Genesis East. Cremation will be done with a memorial service Monday May 8, 2017 at Ridgecrest Village, Koning Chapel at 2 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to King’s Harvest No Kill Shelter or Koning Charitable Fund at Ridgecrest Village. Gerald was born April 3, 1929 in Fort Wayne, IN, son of Charlotte and Irwin Fuller. He served in the Korean Conflict in the Army and was employed as an electrician for local IBEW 145, retiring in 1991. His hobbies included race car driving, NASCAR, travel and dancing. A great family man , he was a selfless and patriotic person, who enjoyed volunteering at Ridgecrest and with the Honor Flight.
On June 16, 1951 he married Delores Greenlee. She preceded him in death February 15, 2013. He later married Janice Grimm on March 22, 2014.
Surviviors include his wife, Janice, a daughter, Cindy (Gary) Rolsch; stepchildren Kay (David) Rash, Anne Grimm and Rhonda (Doug) Peters; grandchildren Andrew (Stephanie)Fuller, Amber Talamantez and Jamie Schroeter; great grandchildren Austin, Jordan and Victoria Fuller. Jerry was preceded in death by three sons Gary, Michael and Dennis Fuller, granddaughter Heather Fuller and sisters
