Geraldine D. (Jerry) Lund, 99, of Northbrook, IL, formerly of Moline, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Davenport Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. There will be no visitation. Jerry was born September 17, 1913 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Bruce and Catherine (Guldner) Randall. She was married to Robert “Bob” Lund in 1940 in Moline, IL; he preceded her in death on July 31, 1988.
Prior to her retirement, Jerry had worked at the Black Hawk College Bookstore. She had been a Girl Scout leader, 4-H leader and was active in the Homemakers of Farm Bureau of Rock Island County. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of East Moline.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Kaaren (John) Lund-Lindemann, Northbrook, IL and Cherie (Roger) Baumann, Moline, IL; grandchildren: Robyn Lindemann and Adam and Erik Baumann and great grandchildren, Addison and Noely Baumann.
