Moline,IL Memorial services Harold “Curly” Beck, 72, of Moline will be, 10:30 am on Tuesday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Tuesday from 9:30 am to service time at the Mortuary. Inurnment will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion, Post #154, Bettendorf. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service in charge of arrangements. Harold passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.Harold Louis Beck was born on July 16, 1937 in Moline,IL, the son of LeRoy and Florence (Christ) Beck. He served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam Era. After the service he worked in the Foil Mill at Alcoa for 37 years, retiring in 1999. Harold enjoyed golfing, bowling, and watching sprint car races. Harold was a member of the American Legion #154, Bettendorf.Survivors include his daughter; Vicki (Dr. Jeffrey) Lybarger of Moline,IL, son; Scott Beck of Davenport, brothers; Donald Beck of Blue Grass, Wayne (Linda) Beck of Davenport, sister; Pamela Hildebrant of Davenport, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Kimberly, sons; Curtis and Kevin Beck, and sister-in-law, Dianne Beck, Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
