Davenport, IA A Private family service for Helen E. Korsrud, 89, of Davenport will be at a later date at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Inurnment will also take place at a later date at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island. Helen E. Korsrud, 89, of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Ridgecrest Village, Davenport.

Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Helen Elizabeth Anderson was born on March 14, 1928 in Austin, MN, the daughter of Walter and Camilla (Fredricksen) Anderson. She married Walter Eugene Korsrud on September 4, 1948 in MN. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2018. Survivors include her daughter; Sandra (Louis) Behensky of Davenport, son; David Korsrud of Maquoketa, grandchildren, Erica Smigo, Elizabeth (Michael) Weipert, Christopher (Julie) Nelson, Tom (Darcy) Nelson, Sarah (Jacob) Danner, 7 great-grandchildren and sister; Shirley Severtson of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter, a daughter, Jane Nelson, and sister, Ailene Fredericks.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.
