Jack R. Hart

Jack R. Hart, 75, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at St. Mary Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Davenport. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2016 in the Pine Hill Cemetery Chapel with inurnment to follow. Memorials may be made to ASPCA. Jack was born on February 5, 1940 in Peoria IL, the son of Robert Riggle and Laura June (Lindstrum) Hart.

Jack was the former owner of Hart’s Beauty Supply and was an avid gambler who enjoyed going to Las Vegas. In his teen years he was an avid drag racer winning a couple dozen trophies. He enjoyed playing in Pro Am golf tournaments along with being a member of the Galesburg Snowmobile Club and loved to go boating with that same group in the summer. Jack also enjoyed fishing, especially with friends in Canada.

He was a people pleaser and always put others first and was willing to help anyone in need.

Survivors include his daughter, Jolyne (Brian) Walsh, Davenport; brother, Jeffory Hart (Lynne Day), North Hollywood, CA; grandchildren, Samantha Walsh (Nick Millam), Park View, IA and Olivia (Aaron) Lindell, Davenport; and great grandchildren, Carson Millam and Alec Lindell.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
