Jacob was born on June 17, 1990 in Davenport to Eric Starling and Cher (Mitchell) Hicks. He married Desiree Hyslop on August 27, 2016 in Davenport. Jacob was an avid stunt rider. He was a loving father who cherished special moments with his children.
Survivors include his wife; children, Kayla Beth Cunningham, Remi Lynn Starling, Aryanna Hyslop; parents, Eric (Chris) Starling and Cher Hicks; brothers, Austin, Justin, Christopher, Kayla and Hannah; grandparents, Doug and Lyndi Starling; great grandfather, Tom Leasure; great grandmother, Dorothy Forsyth and several aunts and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
