James Lee Netherland, Jr., 30, of Wisconsin, formerly of Davenport, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Online remembrances may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
James was born August 15, 1985 in Davenport; the son of James Lee Netherland, Sr. and Penny (Willet) McDonnell, both of Davenport.
He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, camping and having bonfires. He was an avid football fan and liked watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. He had worked as a salesman of Kirby Vacuums for Top Notch Associates in Davenport where he received many outstanding awards.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, James, Sr., Davenport; his mother, Penny McDonnel, Davenport and her fiancé, Jerry A. Shreeves, Cambridge, IL; sister, Amanda Netherland and her son, Gage, Cambridge, IL; sons: Evan and his mother, Kara King, Burlington and Aidan and his mother, Jessica Moreno, Letts, IA and his paternal grandmother, Loretta Netherland, Washington, IA. His brothers, Charles and Brad Netherland preceded him in death.
