Janilou "Jane" M. Foster

Janilou “Jane” M. Foster, 80, of Bettendorf, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at Manor Care – Utica Ridge in Davenport. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Runge Mortuary. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or American Lung Association. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Jane was born in Newton, IA on February 4, 1934 to Ross and Edna (Green) Miller. She grew up on a farm in Newton and graduated from Newton High School in 1952. Jane worked in Newton for several years before moving to Bettendorf in 1957. Survivors include her son, Stephen (Debbie) Foster, Fleming Island, FL; daughters, Sandra (Kenneth) Keyes, Southlake, TX; and Lynda Foster, Boy River, MN; grandchildren, Abigail and Clayton Keyes, Southlake, TX; sister, Greta Koppin, Newton, IA; nephew James (Lisa) Koppin, Mason City, IA; niece, Jane Meckley, Baxter, IA; cousin, Mickey Davis, Bettendorf, IA and great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Edna and George Swihart, and numerous aunts and uncles.
