

Jason Robert Mammen, 29, of Davenport, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 in his sleep at home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel with visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the mortuary. Jason was born on June 23, 1986, in Davenport, the son of Randall Gene Mammen and Diane (Williams) Mammen. Jason was baptized in Jesus’ name at Grandview Baptist Church in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from West High School on June 3, 2004 and attended Scott Community College for two years. He worked for Air Craft Service International in Charlotte, NC, and for Video Games in Davenport, IA.
Jason loved playing his guitar and enjoyed all types of music and festivals especially Rock Music. He was an outdoors person who enjoyed biking, kayaking, disc golf, camping, fishing and vacationing with his family and also enjoyed electronics.
Those celebrating his life include his parents, brother, Matthew James Mammen; grandparents, William F. and Marguerette Williams and Gerald and Leona Mammen; special aunts, Linda Jean Williams, Joan (Tony) Bednarik, and Barbara (Rick) Osterkamp; numerous cousins; half-sister, Leanna Mammen and half-brother, Jacob Mammen. He will be missed by many close friends and family.
