Jeffery was born on March 9th, 1982, in Borger, Texas to Jefferson and Ruthie Teague. He graduated from Webb City High School in Webb City, Missouri, 2000. He attended schools in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. Jeff had many friends and hobbies. He had a great passion for riding his motorcycle. He was a huge New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan (regardless of how their season was going).
He was known as "Spaz" by some, "Bully" by his nephew and we can only imagine what everyone else called him. I'm sure he had many nicknames. Jeff was a loving person who cared for the people around him; more than himself, at times. He enjoyed fishing with his dad, nephew and friends. Although Jeff didn't have any of his own children, he loved kids and spent a lot of time with his friends' kids.
Jeff had a heart condition that challenged him his whole life. Dr. Law, Nurse Colleen, and their cardiology team at the University of Iowa helped extend Jeff's life for the past 23 years. We are very thankful for the extra years we had with him.
Jeff was proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother; Barbara Teague and his maternal grandparents; Ray and Carolyn Cook.
Survivors include his parents; Jeff and Ruthie Teague, sisters; Trisha (Matt) Poole, & Hailey (Ryan) Mullen; nieces, Makina (Kreg), Avery, & Temperance; nephews Timber, Callen, Cole and his great-niece; Winselow.
We ask for anyone able to ride their motorcycle, please do. We will have a motorcycle send-off at 5:00 p.m. from the church (weather permitting). We ask all guests to wear blue, black, Yankees, Cowboys, or Harley attire.
Jeff's family has established an email to send photos and videos that may be used at his services. Please send them to [email protected]
