Jerry D. Wilkins, 61, of Blue Grass, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at the mortuary. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Gorman on July 6, 1974 in Gary, IN. He received two Masters Degree’s from St. Ambrose University in Davenport and was an IT Project Engineer for SSAB in Montpelier, IA. He enjoyed riding his Harley and music, including playing his guitar. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, Blue Grass; sons: Jerry Jr. (Heather) Wilkins, Davenport and Tim (Robyn) Wilkins, Davenport; brother, George, Utah; sister, Virginia Carter, Whiting, IN and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and by his beloved dog, Buddy.
