Joanne Marsha Meyers

Joanne Marsha Meyers, 71, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on February 9, 2021. The family will be holding a private service. She will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joanne’s name to Vera French. Online condolences maybe expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Joanne was born the daughter of Herbert and Margaret McKnight-Atzen in Davenport, IA on December 15, 1949. She graduated from West High School, class of 1968. She married Brad Meyers on September 1, 1973.

She lived most of her adult life in Vera French Community Housing, where she mad many friends and was well taken care of. She kept busy with her puzzles, books, and watching WWE Wrestling.

She is survived by her brother, Gary Atzen; sisters, Barbara Nelles and Terri (Tony) Hughes; and many nieces and nephews, who she always remembered with thoughtful cards.
