Joyce Marie Freeman

Joyce Marie Freeman, 58, of Buffalo, Iowa passed away peacefully at home on Friday June 26, 2015. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on July 18, 1956. All those who knew Joyce know how kind, warm, and generous she was to all. She was blessed to spend the last 23 years with her soul mate Bobby, who she married February 23, 1997. She had a deep love for people as well as her dogs. She accredited her daily joy to her “wild child’s”. She is survived by her husband Robert L. Freeman, daughter Dawn Shafer, brother Mitchell J. Rejman, and sisters, Julie A. Madinabeitia and Debra L. Zornes. She is also very loved by her many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her “children” Pita, Baby Bear, Duchess, Tucker, Ellie, and Willow. Rest easy Joycie. Now you’re home with daddy, Ceasar, Grandpa, Uncle Chester, and Auntie Del.

Service will be held Wednesday July 1, 2015 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Buffalo, IA at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
