Judith Ann Carpenter

Funeral services will be held at the Runge Mortuary on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 12 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. She will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Judith’s name to the First Baptist Church in Bettendorf. Judith was born on July 6, 1939 in Davenport, Iowa to Earl May and Joyce Lindstrom. On August 29, 1959 she was united in marriage to Carmen Carpenter. They have enjoyed 64 years of marriage. Judith was a woman of faith and spent many years teaching Sunday school to children. She was also an advocate for hearing impaired children. She enjoyed feeding birds, reading the Bible, dancing, and family gatherings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband; children, Chris Carpenter and Steven Carpenter; grandchildren, Kerri Carpenter and Alex Carpenter; great-grandchild Kayden; sister, Barbara (David) Raveling; and aunt, Beatrice Drenter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Craig Carpenter.
